Reef Entertainment has released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Terminator: Resistance Annihilation Line DLC. The new trailer showcases a few hectic firefights through a war-torn city, with the player facing off against Skynet bots of all shapes and sizes. The Annihilation Line DLC will release for PS5 and PC on December 10, 2021.

Revealed via a recent livestream, the new gameplay trailer follows prominent Terminator series character Kyle Reese and a team of Resistance soldiers. The story follows mid-way through the game’s main campaign, as Resistance leader John Connor tasks the team with investigating a small human settlement that has gone silent. As the team travels through a post-apocalyptic California, players will get to see how Kyle Reese becomes the war hero featured in the original 1984 The Terminator movie.

The DLC campaign will be about 4 hours long and feature new Skynet bots such as the T-600 and HK Centurion. Additionally, the DLC will take advantage of the DualSense controller’s haptic features and allow players to feel the pulse of their plasma rifles. Notably, the DLC will also come alongside a PS5 patch that adds the ability to change the game’s FOV. Furthermore, PS5 owners will finally be able to choose between performance or resolution graphics modes.

The Terminator: Resistance Enhanced edition launched for the PS5 released earlier this year as a free upgrade for PS4 version owners. Reef Entertainment originally released the first-person shooter back in 2019 after a brief delay. The game is set 30 years after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The game also offers different endings depending on the choices you make, as well as choosing between full-frontal firefights and a more stealthy approach.

Terminator: Resistance Annihilation Line DLC will release for the PS5 and PC on December 10, 2021.
