U.S January 2022 charts: Pokemon Legends Arceus is No.1 and Switch is No.3

The latest video game software and hardware charts for the United States during the period of January 2022 has come through courtesy of sales tracker NPD Group. The best-selling video game in the United States during the cold month of January was the incredibly popular next iteration of the Pokemon franchise, Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The success story of the month was Monster Hunter Rise which was No.3 in January 2022 and it climbed all the way from No.94 in December. The best-selling video game console in January 2022 was Sony’s PlayStation 5 followed by the Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch family in third.
