Ace Attorney Trilogy is available to play on the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. You can also get it digitally on the Xbox One. There is also a mobile version called Ace Attorney Trilogy HD, which contains fewer features and a different UI structure. The mobile version is actually the original version of the trilogy, with console ports coming later on.

Well, Capcom has announced that the mobile-only version of the game will be discontinued from being purchased on mobile stores. On June 9th, it will be replaced with the console version. If you already own the game, you will be able to keep it. However, if you haven’t already, you will need to make sure you get all the DLC, because that will also become unavailable to purchase after June 9th.

As for re-downloading the game and DLC, you will have no issues with doing so on iOS. On Android, there is a catch. You will only be able to re-download DLC for the game if you had purchased it before February 13th, 2015. You will also have to keep in mind that, since the mobile version is not going to be updated anymore, that means that it will become incompatible with future versions of iOS and Android devices.

If you own the mobile version, you can’t get a free upgrade to the console version when it arrives to mobile stores. And, unfortunately, your progress and saves will not be carried over either. So, if you decide to purchase the “new” version, you’ll have to start from scratch.
