Call of Duty: Vanguard continues to receive support for its multiplayer and Zombies modes. Treyarch has now revealed what they’ve been working on for the game and what players can expect to see during Season 3 and beyond. The COD Vanguard content includes a returning fan-favorite Zombies map, Shi No Numa.

What content is coming to COD: Vanguard Zombies?

Call of Duty Vanguard

The next Zombies map in Call of Duty: Vanguard will be the “full-scope” of Shi no Numa, a map first introduced in COD: World at War. The reborn map will come with a new main quest and side quests, including a new Wonder Weapon quest and a Dark Aether narrative. As well as the familiar Flogger trap and Electro-Shock Defenses, there will be a whole new area, remastered Easter Eggs, and new Pack-a-Punch Camos. The map is expected to release after the end of Season 3 as things stand at the moment.

Treyarch is also bringing round-based Zombies to the game, but this is going to take some time as they’re creating the mode from scratch. The good news is that Season 3 will bring more Battle Pass weapons, Weapon Unlock challenges, and new Season Challenges with exclusive rewards. There won’t be any new Objectives, though, as Sacrifice is confirmed to be the final one.

Even Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be getting more Zombies content. Outbreak Collapse is a limited-time mode where players need to survive waves of zombies over a period of 10 minutes before exfiltrating from one of two random regions. Not only are there ordinary zombies, but there’s also an Orda and the Abomination Elite enemy from “Forsaken” to contend with.

Onslaught will also get several limited-time modes starting with Onslaught Mystery Munitions. Players start with a random weapon before equipping a different random weapon after every completed surge. As the season progresses, Onslaught Accelerated, Onslaught Diminishing Light, and Onslaught Elite will be introduced too.

In other news, actor Joseph Gatt who provided the motion capture for God of War’s Kratos has been arrested over allegations of “sexually explicit communication with a minor”. Elsewhere, Sora’s clown shoes may still make their return in Kingdom Hearts 4.
