elemental war 2

The last time we heard of Elemental War it was with the release of Elemental War TD back in December of 2020, all as we looked to scratch a bit of a tower-defense itch. Well, it’s time to scratch again with the launch of Elemental War 2.

On the face of it Elemental War 2 takes what was first provided in TD, giving players the opportunity to enjoy a tower-defense styled world; one that is being threatened by hordes of the most evil creatures. As you’d suspect, it’s your job to put a stop to the invasion, strategically and tactically placing a defensive line of towers, hoping, praying and crossing everything that your best laid plans will come to fruitition.

Priced at £16.74 and available to play on Xbox One or – fully optimised – on Xbox Series X|S, Elemental War 2 should give you all the units you will ever need in order to stop the hordes, with new units unlocked as you find progress.

It’s a game that promises literally dozens of hours of gameplay, as you go chasing objectives, following missions and covering quests and challenges. With hand-built maps, it should be a gimme that it plays pretty fairly too.

Should you wish to continue scratching that tower-defense itch, perhaps as you enjoyed Elemental War TD and need to follow on from that, then you’ll find Elemental War 2 on the Xbox Store

We’re tempted. We’ll drop a review if we do.

Game Description:

Elemental War 2 takes you into a threatened world: hordes of monsters suddenly pour out of the abysses of hell from a faulty summoned portal. Will you manage to build a defense line of defense towers against the forces of evil in time? Elemental War 2 offers you the popular tower defense feeling combined with innovative game mechanics: as soon as you defeat an elemental – a particularly strong enemy that will demand everything from you – you’ll receive its element stone, which you can use to build new defense towers. As you keep collecting elements, you’ll always have new levels and tower combinations at your disposal. Only if you skillfully combine the different towers and make use of their advantages will you be able to stand up to the monster hordes. Through in-game side quests, you’ll also unlock items that further enhance the abilities of your towers or decisively weaken your opponents at just the right time! Elemental War 2 offers you dozens of hours of gameplay to develop strategies, complete all the quests and discover all the secrets of the game world. The lovingly hand-built maps offer you varied games and always new challenges!
