In-person events have been slowly returning around the world, and MomoCon is the latest annual convention to come back after a two-year hiatus. And they’ve got an extra-special guest to celebrate.

The gaming, comic, and pop culture show will take place in Atlanta at Georgia World Congress Center from 26th to 29th May, and will have gaming tournaments for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Brawlhalla, Dragon Ball FighterZ, and Smash Ultimate.

Most importantly, the voice of everyone’s favourite Italian plumber, Mario, will also be attending. Charles Martinet was at the last event in 2019, so it’ll feel like a real homecoming for repeat attendees. Last time, fans could get an autograph from the man who also lends his dulcet tones to Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, and the baby brothers. But did you know that Martinet, as Wario, lent his voice to a British commercial that encouraged you to go to Tesco?

If you’re thinking of attending the show — where masks will be mandatory in all indoor areas — then you can book your tickets over on the official MomoCon website. Prices start at $35 for a single day, or $85 for a full weekend pass.

Will you be attending MomoCon at the end of the month? Let us know!
