One of the biggest American holidays is no stranger to Legends! This time around, a whole lot of activities and bonuses is awaiting courageous captains on the high seas.

First off, the Dum Spiro Spero mission. It is totally free and is named after South Carolina’s official motto. The ultimate prize? You guessed it right, it is the American Tier III Premium battleship South Carolina! The assignment is available to complete until July 25.

More bonuses come in the form of Windroses for American ships. Each first win for Tier IV-Legendary ships between July 4 and July 25 will result in getting a one-time bonus, depending on the ship tier. Those include camouflages, crates, and Commander Progression items.

There’s also a way to get more – permanent – camos and a couple of exclusive Star-Spangled skins for Cleveland and Baltimore, by completing the special Broad Stripes and Bright Stars time-limited Bureau project.

Nice finishing touches? Of course! Themed Philippines port, Liberty Package bundle for free in the Microsoft Store, and weekly rotating discounts for USN-related content in the special tab of the Store, including 40% off selected XXL ship bundles all fall in this category!

Lucky Six campaign

This campaign is special, despite being the classic 100-milestone 5-week endeavor with the catch-up mechanic enabled. It features two American Premium ships: Tier VII destroyer Black and Tier V aircraft carrier Independence. Admiralty Backing is required to obtain at least one of those upon finishing the campaign, with the ship that was not the primary choice being available to get for doubloons.

Black is a versatile destroyer with rapid-reloading guns and Radar consumable in her arsenal, while Independence, becoming the first aircraft carrier to feature as the ultimate campaign reward, allows to deploy powerful units of both torpedo and dive bombers.

Tier VIII is coming

One more Tier is coming to Legends! It will be introduced with the next update, but for now we are ready to unveil, that the first wave of tech tree ships will include 12 ships from 4 nations (USA, Japan, Germany, USSR), but even the initial content drop for Tier VIII will not be limited by that number – with more mighty Legends to come later this year. Stay tuned…

Pan-European destroyers leave Early Access

Branch-topping Tier VII Östergötland is here! She features powerful AA defenses, fast torpedo reloads and even faster torpedo movement as well as powerful main battery guns make her a sailing arsenal, that might not even need to smoke up! Her arrival – as always – means that the Early Access line of Pan-European destroyers is available for research. Fast torpedoes and powerful artillery layouts, as well as Repair Party consumable, are more than enough to compensate for the lack of Smoke Generator. These ships are a perfect opportunity to try a combo of features picked from within both gun- and torpedo-boat playstyles.

It is reinforced by the release of Pan-European Tier IV heavy-hitting battleship Viribus Unitis on June 27, with a special Commander Janko Vukovich also making his Legendary debut. The battleship is up for grabs in the Store, while the admiral can be found in the all-new European Commander crates, along with 3 his peers. Two of those, Jerzy Świrski and Stig Hansson Ericson, are perfectly fit to helm the swift destroyers!

Balance changes

This update will see a buff for four Italian battleships, such as Tier VII Vittorio Veneto and Roma, and a couple of Japanese ships, as well as the introduction of Semi-AP shells for Italian cruisers. Those are coming as a test flight, so there’s a chance to see some changes regarding such ammunition.

Chill on the seas this summer with Legends and turn the tide!
