With this year’s long-awaited Tokyo Game Show in full swing, Square Enix has provided fans with a further look at the sequel to 2018’s JRPG Octopath Traveler, aptly titled, Octopath Traveler II. The prestigious company presented a gameplay demo accompanied with a translator for those of us here in the west. The game uses the beautiful HD-2D engine and it looks as though the development team has been busy optimising the engine to deliver even greater graphical fidelity for the sequel. The original received a demo before its release on the eShop and the hopes are that Square Enix will do the same for Octopath Traveler II. Check out the game down below.
