Today is a day of celebration as legendary Nintendo designer and producer Shigeru Miyamoto is celebrating his 70th birthday today, which is quite a milestone. Miyamoto has been with Nintendo since he was a young man as he joined the Kyoto-based company in 1977 after impressing the then boss, Hiroshi Yamauchi, and has been with the company ever since. He has created and produced plenty of legendary Nintendo games and series including Super Mario World, Mario Kart, Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Star Fox 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and plenty of others with are too numerous to mention here. Happy 70th Birthday Mr. Miyamoto and thanks for all the great games.
