CD Projekt Red has confirmed there will be a retail version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition for PS5 and that the release date window is later this month. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will include the game and all previously released content. Unsurprisingly, they also confirmed the game will be released at retail for Xbox Series X|S.

What’s included in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition at retail?

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition on PS5 will have a disc that includes the full game and the two DLC expansions: Hearts of Stone and Blood & Wine when released at retail. All of the free DLC and content updates will also be included on the disc, such as the recently released Netflix show-inspired DLC.

However, the game will contain “only the aforementioned disc” according to an official statement given to Insider Gaming, meaning the previously rumored stickers, map, and The Witcher Universe: Compendium are not planned to be included. It is unknown whether that will be a special edition available only in the developer’s native Poland, where the game was originally leaked.

An exact release date was not given, just that the retail version will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for late January 2023.
