It looks like Ubisoft wants a bigger slice of the games industry’s subscription service pie. A new survey administered by PC platform GOG indicates that Ubisoft+ will be split into three tiers: Gold, Deluxe, and Ultimate.

Ubisoft+ Classics currently available with PS Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe

Ubisoft currently offers a special subscription service to PlayStation users as part of their PS Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe tiers. Called Ubisoft+ Classics, the service adds a curated selection of popular games to the PS Plus catalogs. A standard Ubisoft+ subscription, which gives players access to 100+ new releases and premium editions of games, is only available on PC.

As spotted by a Reddit user, Q. 21 of the aforementioned GOG survey (verified at the time of his writing) asks respondents which subscription services and plans they subscribe to. Ubisoft+ Gold, Deluxe, and Ultimate are among the options available, which also include all three tiers of PS Plus and various Xbox Game Pass plans.

Unless GOG has made an error, it looks like Ubisoft will be announcing the new tiers in due course. What those tiers may entail is anybody’s guess right now. We also can’t say if the new plans will be available on consoles or not.
