Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dark action-RPG in development & based on The Last Ronin

It is a good time to be a Turtle’s fan after the excellent Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and with an exciting new animated movie on the horizon. Today, Polygon and Paramount have revealed that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series is getting a new dark and gritty AAA action-RPG game which is being developed by an unnamed video game studio. The game will be based on the Turtle’s The Last Ronin graphic novel which by all account is a riveting but dark tale. The news came about in a new interview with Paramount Global senior vice president for games Doug Rosenew who says that the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game is a “few years off” from release.
