Acquisitions of video gaming companies has been very common as of late. Microsoft and Sony have especially been doing this. However, acquisitions don’t always come from a company that produces hardware. It can occasionally happen with third-parties, or even indie companies.

For example, Devolver Digital has announced earlier today that they have acquired Doinksoft. Doinksoft is known for Gato Robot and Demon Throttle. As for upcoming releases, Doinksoft is planning to release Gunbrella on the Nintendo Switch and PC later this year. The announcement tweet is down below.
