Burnhouse Lane is Feardemic’s new horror experience

For those in the know when it comes to horror games, it’s an exciting day when publishers Feardemic release their latest title. Today marks the release of Burnhouse Lane on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch – developed by Harvester Games – following a PC release in 2022.

Big Names

Releasing today on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch platforms, Burnhouse Lane has everything going for it when it comes to the teams behind its creation. Developers Harvester Games are best known for The Cat Lady, Downfall and Lorelai, and seem to have continued the winning streak with Burnhouse Lane, given the Very Positive review base on Steam.

Furthermore, Feardemic are mega-publishers in horror, with the likes of DARQ: Complete Edition coming from the studio.

Burnhouse Lane is a stylish 2D horror title that sees nurse Angie Weather on a mission to win back her own life, through completing five terrifying trials. She will learn that there is always a reason to fight on, even if saving her own life comes at the compromise of relationships and others.

Conserve Your Resources

Burnhouse Lane combines the ‘choose your own adventure’, decision-making style of The Walking Dead with some of the tense inventory management and survival horror combat of mega-horrors such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

You’ll have a number of enemies chasing you down, so make sure to conserve your highly limited ammo in order to survive.

Take a look at the trailer we’ve added below, and you will see that Burnhouse Lane is certainly not for those with a nervous disposition. It’s a loud, proud and intense horror that will have your heart pumping at every opportunity.

Game Description

Burnhouse Lane tells the story of Angie Weather, a one-foot-in-the-grave agency nurse attempting to complete five impossible tasks in order to win her life back. It’s a story about death, friendship, and everlasting hope that no matter how bad things get there is always a reason to go on.

From Harvester Games, the makers of The Cat Lady (2012), Downfall (2016), and Lorelai (2019), comes a brand new horror experience that will not only take you to some truly dark places but will also make you smile and cry and question life and all the things we take for granted.

Burnhouse Lane mixes elements of classic adventure games, choose-your-own-story (Telltale’s The Walking Dead series) with light survival horror shooting mechanics inspired by Silent Hill and Resident Evil series where ammo is sparse, enemies hit hard and every shot counts.
