Ready to go off-road trucking? Heavy Duty Challenge on Xbox, PlayStation and PC will prove a real test of your skills.
An eight-wheeled playground awaits come this September as Heavy Duty Challenge gets set to launch onto PC and console. Playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, this will be the next from the Aerosoft team, developed by those at Nano Games. And yep, you may have heard of Heavy Duty Challenge previously. We first reported it was in the works way back in 2020.
Prepare to go off-road!
Heavy Duty Challenge on Xbox, PlayStation and PC promises to let you get behind the wheel of some of the most heavy duty vehicles in the land. See it as an evolution of the briliance of SnowRunner, maybe, and you’ll be near the park you want.
Combining state of the art visuals, pitch perfect physics and the immersion of an off-road trucker, Heavy Duty Challenge promises much. It will task you with proving yourself across a variety of trial competitions, working cross-country driving techniques.
A open-world awaits in Heavy Duty Challenge on Xbox, PlayStation and PC – with that filled with obstacles. Thankfully, a variety of camera views will help you out, whilst no less than twelve drivable trucks will be ready and waiting for action. Each of those will come with new parts to utilise too, whilst damage and repair features will see you managing and maintaining your vehicles.
The devs are excited for a challenge
From 10am CEST on Saturday, July 8th to 10am CEST on Monday, July 10th, 2023, truck drivers can put their skills to the test in an open playtest available on Steam. You’ll get to compete in trials during the playtest to win grand prizes – including a Logitech G920 steering wheel – or join creative competitions conducted via Discord. A Q&A on r/trucksim will also kick off on July 9th, allowing community members to learn more about Heavy Duty Challenge® ahead of its Sept. 14th, 2023, launch on PC and consoles.
