The Pokémon Company has exciting news for fans as it announces a new musical collaboration with Crypton Future Media’s Vocaloid sensation, Hatsune Miku. Titled “Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project Voltage 18 Types/Songs,” this partnership promises a creative fusion of two beloved franchises. Starting September 4 to September 28, 2023, the official Project Voltage Twitter account will unveil 18 illustrations, each portraying Hatsune Miku as a Trainer alongside a Pokémon of each type. These illustrations will capture the imagination of fans, visualizing the iconic Vocaloid star with creatures ranging from Normal to Fairy types.

The project goes beyond visuals. A series of 18 songs and music videos will be launched consecutively over the following months on Vocaloid-P’s YouTube channel. These compositions will maintain the thematic connection, incorporating nostalgic sounds and music effects from various eras of the Pokémon series. Additionally, the collaboration introduces an exciting element of surprise. The identity of the Vocaloid-P artist contributing to this venture will be disclosed on September 28, 2023, leaving fans eager to discover who will infuse their creativity into this unique crossover.
