Landstalker & Shining Force character designer Yoshitaka Tamaki has passed away

Yoshitaka Tamaki, who was the character designer for the acclaimed SEGA Mega Drive RPG Landstalker and the Shining Force series of games has sadly passed away due to cancer. Mr. Tamaki was only 55 and his family say that he passed away in July of this year. Mr. Tamaki worked as a character designer for a number of acclaimed classic SEGA games including Shining in the Darkness, Shining Force, Landstalker, Shining Soul 1&2, Feda Remake: The Emblem of Justice, Time Stalkers, Shining Force: Resurrection of the Dark Dragon and Shining Force Neo. Our thoughts are with Mr. Tamaki’s family during this difficult period.
