Originally acclaimed upon its release on Xbox, PC, and Game Pass, Pentiment garnered widespread praise from critics, with Pure Xbox awarding it an impressive 9 out of 10. Obsidian’s track record on the Switch includes the successful release of Pillars of Eternity in 2019, a game that played a pivotal role in the company’s journey following a successful Kickstarter campaign. However, the sequel to this renowned RPG was unfortunately canceled for the hybrid platform, as confirmed last year.
