Two new games get added to Game Pass

There are a couple of new additions to the Game Pass subscription service on Xbox and PC today. But will you choose red, or will you choose blue? The choice is yours.

Here we are again with new additions to the ever-greatening Game Pass service, as subscribers on Xbox and PC gain the opportunity to take in a couple of new adventures. And what adventures they are, with acclaim delivered the way of each.

But they are most definitely on the furthest ends of the gaming spectrum you could ever imagine. See, in the red corner, full of gore, guts and brutality is Dead Island 2, shocking gamers as it shadow drops onto the scheme. And in that blue corner? Yeah, it’s the loveable Bluey. That’s right, Bluey: The Videogame is on Game Pass – rejoice!

Dead Island 2

We may have waited an age for Dead Island 2 to become reality, but what a game that was delivered back in early 2023.

That dark HELL-A humour now comes to Game Pass, with a shadow drop that is out of this world.

Dead Island 2 is one of the best first person action RPGs that we have played in recent times. It is full of blood, full of guts, full of gore, full of insane weaponry. In fact, the chance to become a zombie slayer is one that you should not miss. As you navigate your way through and over this exquisite sandbox experience.

Yeah, we love Dead Island 2 – as our 4.5/5 review score proves

‘Sure, there’s a zombie apocalypse happening, but Dead Island 2 might be the most fun end-of-days yet. The dark humour, gratuitous violence and sandbox-esque playground of LA allows you to come up with some beautiful and brutal zombie kills.’

Bluey: The Videogame

Yep, yep, the GOAT is in Game Pass town, and she’s here to deliver some seriously fun gaming to the little ones. We know your kids are obsessed with Bluey…

Bluey: The Videogame is now on Game Pass, whisking players off to the most wonderful of worlds. Ensuring they are ready to explore the iconic locations from the TV show. Full of games and fun, Bluey will guide you through this adventure, as you unlock a variety of items, take part in many mini-games and more.

If you – or your kids – love a bit of Bluey, you’d be mad not to get a download moving from the Xbox Store right now.

And if you want to know more about how Bluey: the Videogame plays on Xbox, check out our full review. We gave it a 3.5/5 review score…

‘From the art to the voice-acting to the painstaking recreation of the Bluey house: it’s all exactly as it should be. You’re led into the world of Bluey and told to play. For younger players, that will be music to their little dingo ears.’

You’ll find both Dead Island 2 and Bluey: The Videogame present and correct as part of your Game Pass subscription right now.

What’s next for Game Pass?

There is plenty more to come from where these two popped up as well. In fact, the week commencing February 26th is a great one, with the brilliant Maneater arriving on the 27th along with Madden NFL 24. A day after that (28th, in case you are confused) is the addition of Indivisible. Space Engineers rolling out for duty 24 hours later.

A couple of games shift out of the service on the 29th too. If you haven’t yet played Madden NFL 22 or Soul Hackers 2, you’ll want to get to it.

From there, expect March to add in Diablo IV, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun and more.

For now though, get into the comments and let us know if you’ll be going Red or Blue with the latest Game Pass additions.
