Flock – on Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation, PC

Put down your weapons and forget the violence, as it’s time to become a flying shepherd with Flock on Game Pass, Xbox, PlayStation and PC.

From the developers Hollow Ponds & Richard Hogg and publisher Annapurna Interactive, Flock focuses on the joys of flight as you head off into its lands and with friends, all in hope of collecting the most adorable of creatures. Think Pokemon, but different; more cozy, more cooperative.

Cozy and cooperative

Flock lands on Game Pass as a Day One debut alongside others in a week that could well be seen as the best for Game Pass subscribers yet. That means it’s playable on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S (optimised) and PC, all for just the price of your subscription. Of course, should you prefer to pay cold hard cash, that is equally possible. Flock is also on PlayStation if you wish.

Wherever you play, Flock – don’t confused this one for the old Xbox 360 classic FLOCK! or Team17’s, Flockers – looks to deliver one of the most adorable of games, as you look to tend to a flock of hover-sheep, ensuring that they find the most luscious of pastures.

The flock will grow too, as you draw others into your group, looking to collect ’em all, picking up rare and exclusive breeds in the process. And as that flock increases in size, in comes the opportunity to get shearing, taking their wool and turning it into garments for them to wear.

Flock Description

Flock is a multiplayer co-op game where players take on the role of flying shepherds, each tending to their own unique herd of adorable flying creatures.

The game is an ode to the joy of flight and discovery. Starting with a small herd of hover-sheep, you nurture and fly them toward fresh, untouched pastures. Along the way, you will discover the secrets of the beautiful uplands and its wild creatures.

Weird flying creatures. Are they fish? Birds? Snakes? It’s a real mystery. They are mostly friendly though, and with a bit of skill you can charm them to join your flock.

As your flock grows and your sheep get woolier, you can use the wool you shear from them for hats, cardigans, even socks!

Will you find all the creatures? Even the super rare and elusive ones? Will you keep them to yourself or share them with your friends? Will you knit the longest scarf ever seen? Will you find all the hidden treasures stolen by the pesky Burgling Bewls?
