Believe it or not, it has been 25 years since Worms Armageddon originally released on the PlayStation, Dreamcast, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color, and over 10 years since the Worms game re-released on PC. However, you may be surprised to hear that the turn-base strategy game is not available to play on modern consoles.

Well, that may be changing soon. You see, a rating for Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition has appeared in Taiwan for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. So, odds are high that this means a modern re-release of the game is coming soon. That all said, whenever Team17 officially announces it, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, you can see Gematsu’s social media post relaying the news down below.
