Series 37 continues in Forza Horizon 5 and it is hard to believe that it is already week 3, that of Winter! Where does the time go?

Well, time and tide wait for no man, and so here I’ve prepared the cars and tunes you’ll need to polish off the various weekly challenges found in Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist for Series 37 Winter – and this week there are some tricky ones!

So, without further ado, on we go!

For now, let’s crack on with Series 37 Winter’s finest…

Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge – Designed for Driving

The subject of this week’s car challenge is the BMW X5M from 2011, an SUV that apparently thinks it is a sports car!

Should you not have one already, go and buy it from the Autoshow – they will exchange it for 100,000 of your credits. I have a tuned version available – 127132994 – if you need a bit of speed in your life!

Chapter 1 – Boss Every Road

Get in your new car, take it for a spin.  Step one complete.

Chapter 2 – Tuned to Perfection

Win an S1 Class street race. Luckily, the share code I put at the top is S1 class…

Chapter 3 – In the Zone

Get a total of 3 stars at speed zones. The one at the main Festival site is nice and short.

Chapter 4 – Skipping Speed

Earn a Kangaroo Skill by jumping a lot. Dunas Blancas is a good place to do this.

Complete these tasks and we will be five points closer to the seasonal prizes that are up for grabs with Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 37.

Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts

With the weekly challenge done and dusted, let’s dive into the rest of the mayhem on offer.

The Trial, only one Eventlab, PR Stunts, races – that’s what you are getting with Series 37 Winter.

The Trial – Picking Sides.

Forget teamwork, as everyone else has. Just do your best!

This week the theme is basically BMW M vs AMG, and so with a tuning limit of A Class 800, I went with a BMW M5 from 2009, and the share code is : 485527590.

Let’s hope the racing gods smile down on us this week, as we attempt to win an Mercedes Benz E63.

Eventlab 1 – SIRLANCEALOD Presents Snowy Mountain Pass Rally

The class here is a Rally Monster tuned to A Class 800, and so the Hoonigan Cossie V2 was the preferred Steed, and the share code is : 140648350.

A creative track that needs a lot of handbrake to get around, I had fun with this one.

A Volvo V60 is the prize.

Eventlab 2 – MASHPOTATO16 Presents Neon Nights Devil’s Rush

For this event, a Super GT car tuned to S1 Class 900 is required, and so the Ferrari 812 Superfast was chosen. Share code is : 261040765

A very long course, and top tip – watch the corners, as there are zero chances to avoid rocks and trees if you overshoot. Ask me how I know…

Take home a Super Wheelspin for winning out.

PR Stunt 1 – Danger Sign – Colina

This week, all the PR stunts need the same car, an A Class Super Saloon. I went with a stock Mercedes AMG GT 4 Door Coupe, which managed it easily.

We need to jump over 260 meters to win. This is hard!

Do so and you’ll find a Super Wheelspin heading your way in return.

PR Stunt 2 – Speed Trap – Escarpment

For these next two, I used the same car –  I went with an Audi RS6 Avant (we’ll gloss over the fact it isn’t a saloon for now) and the share code is : 736888629. The target is 130 mph. Seems doable! Approach from the west for an easier time.

Another Super Wheelspin awaits.

PR Stunt 3 – Drift Zone – Polytunnels

Same car yet again, and the target here is 100,000 drift points. Poke the Audi with a stick and it will slide, honest.

Yet another Super Wheelspin. Sigh.

Seasonal Championship 1 – Little Rally

We need a Hot Hatch or Super Hot Hatch, with AWD, tuned to B Class 700. A big ask!

I chose a Ford Focus RS from 2009, and the share code is : 111915343.

For winning out, we can take home an Audi TT RS.

Seasonal Championship 2 – Generation Alpha

We need to grab a High Performance Daily car from the 2010’s, tune it to A Class 800 and go racing. I went with an Audi RS6 Avant and the share code is : 736888629. It’s getting a lot of use this week!

The prize for winning is a Xpeng P7.

Part 3: Other Challenges

A good mix of things to try this week, with a photo, a treasure hunt (that is harder than it seems), some Playground games and some Open Racing. Blimey!

Photo Challenge – #TRIDENTTESTED

Take a photo of any Maserati at the Horizon Test Track. Seems almost too easy… Note you have to actually start a Test Track event to take the photo.

Enjoy my artistic effort up at the top of this piece. The location you need to be in is below.

The reward? A black Speed Trap Tee Sounds awesome.

Treasure Hunt – City to the Beach

The clue reads “From a busy day in the city, to playing on a tranquil beach. Rove the land from here to there and we’ll give you points to spare”.

The picture shows a Land Rover Defender, as I guess we need to drive one from a city to Playa Tranquila? The nearest city is Gunajuato…And the location of the end of the drive is a bit odd, it is a long way south of the Playa Tranquila marker.

Basically, get there, then drive south down the beach!

Drive from A to B and Bob is your mother’s brother. The chest contains 100 FP, and the location is shown below.

Seasonal Playground Games – Surviving the Day

Play a game, why don’t you?

We need to grab a Super Saloon car, tune it to A Class 800 and go surviving. I went with an Audi RS6 Avant and the share code is : 736888629.

Should we do this, we will be rewarded to the tune of a Nissan 370Z.

Horizon Open – Cleaning Up

Time for some racing, and the challenge this time is to get five Clean Racing skills in an event. Should be easy enough, stay away from the wheels and other people!

I can’t give you a car or tune as it could be any class, but they aren’t usually too taxing.

Take home a new Forzalink phrase, “I’m the GOAT”. Baa.

Part 4: Hot Wheels Events

If you have the Hot Wheels expansion and are an Elite Level player, then you get to enjoy a couple of extra events.

Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Trap – Dragon’s Fall

The vehicles for the PR Stunts in the next two sections are the same, an S1 Class car that cost less than 200,000 credits to buy. I had to cheat a bit here, and use the Porsche Taycan Turbo S “Welcome Pack” to get the speed I needed.

We need to hit over 290 mph through the trap to win out.

A Super Wheelspin is your reward.

Seasonal Championship – Sports Utility Hazard

Hard to believe I know, but we need a Sports Utility Hero for this race, and the tuning limit is A Class 800, so of course the Bentley Bentayga is my choice. Share code for mine is : 118484657.

Completing the championship will get us a Ford GT500 from 2020.

Part 5: Rally Adventure Events

The Rally Adventure expansion brings even more events to the roster and provided you are already a Horizon Badlands champion, you’ll get access to the following couple of events…

Seasonal PR Stunt – Danger Sign – Canyon Snap

Same car rules. I went with the Nissan GT-R Black Edition for my choice, and the share code for mine is : 394811233.

We need to jump over 190m from the ramp. Easy enough!

The prize is another Super Wheelspin. Another.

Seasonal Championship – Apex Dailies

We need a High Performance Daily here, and the tuning limit is only C Class 600. I went for a stock Honda Civic Type R, the 2004 model, as it is at the tuning limit already. Save those pennies!

The reward for racing? A Jeep Trackhawk.

The rewards for Series 37 and Winter in Forza Horizon 5

With Series 37 over halfway through it’s time to tempt you with what the Series has in store. And this time they are the BMW M2 ‘23 for 80 points and a Lucid Air for 160 points.

Even more Rivals circuits have now been added with Series 37 – and we are back to the full 4 for this month. These are El Piplia Scramble, Bola Ocho Circuit, Gran Pantano Sprint and Dunas Blancas Sprint for those who prefer their cars to be battery powered.. Turn in clean laps on each track to earn a massive four points to the weekly totals. Sadly not four for each, as they seem to suggest!

Grab enough points and Series 37 Winter also sees you given access to the exclusive Ford Fiesta ‘23 (exciting, I know!) for 20 points. Additionally, for 40 points we can get the Renault Clio ‘16, a hard to find car.

Tune in at the same time next week for Series 37 Spring tips, as the High Performance Dailies Series comes to a conclusion.

To enjoy these events in the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges, you’ll need a copy of Forza Horizon 5. It’s available on Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and on the cloud via mobile. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download.

Let us know in the comments if I have helped, hindered or missed the mark with these tunes.
