The latest Sword Art Online game will be releasing on October 4 for Nintendo Switch and other platforms and Bandai Namco has provided a new six-minute long “System” trailer ahead of the launch to provide players with some info on how the game plays in both solo and online play.

After the Galaxia system malfunctions, characters from across Virtual Worlds will collide! Learn more about what players can expect from SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream.

The trailer, which can be seen below, also shows off the various locales and characters that will feature in the game. Fans of the hit anime and web / light novel series might spot the likes of Sword Art Online Alternative’s LLENN and Sword Art Online Alicization’s Administrator amidst the cast, along with areas from throughout the series’ history- from the lush forests of Alfheim to GGO’s urban hellscapes.
