According to Nintendo, there are now over 34,000,000 users that are paying for a Nintendo Switch Online subscription as of September 30th, 2024. As for more details on this, all Nintendo says is that “although we did observe a year-over-year decrease in membership, partly due to fewer new releases in the past year focusing on online play, many people continue to enjoy Nintendo Switch Online”. They also said that “additionally, the number of people opting for the higher-tier Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack has been steadily increasing since the service began in 2021”.
