The delightful Animal Crossing: New Horizons has broken a new records in the Land of the Rising Sun with over 8 million physical units sold. This means that it has become the best-selling physical release of all-time beating the previous record holder Pokemon Red & Green, which released on the Game Boy in 1996 in Japan. Pokemon Red & Green achieved total sales of 7.93 million units sold.
