Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, has been hard at work on supporting Stardew Valley with updates. The game is still receiving new content on all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, even though the game originally released nearly 9 years ago. In fact, the Switch version of the game was recently updated to version 1.6.
Not surprisingly, a major update being released means that there’s usually some bugs here and there that need to be fixed. This new update is no exception, so a new patch update has been recently released for Stardew Valley Switch. ConcernedApe has also revealed that there are some other other bugs that they are looking into fixing. You can see ConcernedApe’s social media post about the matter down below.
The patch for Switch was released last night. It fixes the raccoon shop bug, divorce crash, rain randomization, and a few other things. Because of the randomization fix, there may be some one-time-only “retroactive” changes to things like raccoon requests or item appearance.
