In case you missed it, Dontnod Entertainment recently announced a surprise patch for Vampyr, which allows players to suck blood in 1440p and 60 frames-per-second on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Those playing on the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox Series S can expect 1440p and 30fps. Meanwhile, the Xbox One X version now supports 1296p and 30fps.
Following a slight delay, the patch went live around the world late evening yesterday. Dontnod has asked players to manually check for an update in case it doesn’t start downloading automatically.

Don’t forget that Vampyr was part of PlayStation Plus October 2020 games lineup, so if you added it to your library then and have a valid subscription, all you need to do is hit download and enjoy the enhanced visuals to celebrate Halloween.
Vampyr has been quite a success for Dontnod and publisher Focus Entertainment (formerly Focus Home Interactive). The game went on to sell millions of copies and became profitable. Dontnod now has another collaboration with Focus in the works. However, it looks like the project is a new IP as opposed to a Vampyr sequel.
