In this episode we take a look at some facts, secrets, and history of the Wii U. The Wii U is a gaming device created by Nintendo, and is the successor to the Wii. The system was released in November 2012, and was the first entry in the eighth generation of video game home consoles – followed by Sony’s PlayStation 4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One. The Wii U is the first Nintendo console to support high-definition graphics, and utilizes a tablet inspired touchscreen ‘gamepad’. Sales for the Wii U began to improve in 2013 following the release of The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD, Mario Kart 8, and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
