Dan Fornace’s indie brawler Rivals of Aether has received a small but significant update on the Nintendo Switch today.

Introducing the Workshop Creator Pack – it’s free DLC and is accessible right now. It adds the community-made characters Mollo, Hodan, Pomme and Olympia. They were first revealed last April. Here’s the official announcement:

Once again, this pack is out now on the Nintendo Switch and is a free update on the platform. If you’ve not played this title before, it’s a Smash Bros.-like pixel fighter. Here’s what we had to say in our review about the game:

“Rivals of Aether is a deep and addictive platform fighter that borrows its base concepts from Super Smash Bros. and then runs off in its own direction, resulting in a surprisingly complex indie alternative to Nintendo’s brawling behemoth.”
