Horizon Forbidden West has gotten its latest update and Patch 1.12 nips a few weird and wonderful bugs in the bud. Not only will Aloy not be able to have any more celebratory loot raves, but Guerrilla Games also isn’t allowing her to spend any more time in the bathroom either. Sucks to be her.

Horizon Forbidden West Patch 1.12 was released on PS5 and PS4 today, April 20. The patch made changes to several main quests, side quests, cauldrons, and many other aspects of the game. Some of the more interesting fixes include that Aloy can no longer get stuck in the bathroom at the Base, something we can likely all empathize with. There was also another Tideripper that needed to be disciplined, quest companions that were seemingly oblivious to the combat around them, and her infamous celebratory loot raves where Aloy would bounce uncontrollably on the spot for up to 10 seconds after picking up a resource. You can find the full patch notes on Reddit if you want to read all of the fine minutiae.

There are also several known issues on which the team is still working. The Lofty Ambitions side quest still has issues where Adadund refuses to trade with Aloy. The Ancient Relics Salvage Contract and A Soldier’s Quest side mission both have progression blockers. Outfits can still appear as dark shadows in the inventory while the Apex Grimhorn is still proving to be completely elusive outside of quests. Finally, the team “continues to make tweaks to the game’s content with the goal to reduce visual shimmering”.

In other news, Sonic Origins has been confirmed for PS5 and PS4 and will be released on the 31st anniversary of the release of Sonic The Hedgehog. Elsewhere, God of War Ragnarok is still on schedule to be released this year.
