Netflix has announced a new animated Castlevania show following hot on the heels of the excellent Castlevania anime which made its debut in 2017 and spanned four seasons. The new show is titled Castlevania: Nocturne and looks set to deliver a great storyline and feature plenty of intense action sequences. This time the animation focusses on Richter Belmont, who will be joined by Maria Renard, and is set during the historic French Revolution. Castlevania: Nocturne, a new Netflix animated series, is officially in production. The series is led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and Creator/Writer Clive Bradley and produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation. Castlevania: Nocturne follows Richter, a descendant of the Belmont family, popularized in the iconic Symphony of Night and Blood of Rondo Castlevania games. The show will star Richter Belmont, a descendent of the original show’s Trevor Belmont and Sypha. He’ll be joined by Maria Renard, another character from the original games. It will be set during the events of the French Revolution
