Remember Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp? In case you missed it, Nintendo delayed it due to the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

That’s why this latest update about this game is a bit of an odd one, as it’s not even out yet. Twitter Bot NinStatusBot, which shares information about Nintendo’s maintenance and server outages, yesterday tweeted scheduled maintenance for this upcoming release.

The same account goes on to mention how it’s part of a group of 20 titles that appear to be “undergoing a server software update” and “around 100 titles every day have scheduled maintenance for this update”.

It’s not often you see an unreleased game like this featured on this particular Twitter account, but it’s definitely got some attention from the Nintendo community on the platform. Unfortunately, though, we apparently shouldn’t get too excited:

@NinStatusBot – “It is unlikely that this maintenance can be used to predict when this title will be released.”

The last official update from Nintendo regarding Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp was delivered in the company’s recent financial report where its release date was down as “TBA” (to be announced).

And although it’s not actually out yet, it’s pretty much been confirmed at this point that the game is fully playable after one Switch user got early access to the game. Nintendo ended up cancelling the purchasing and refunding the user.

Do you think we’ll see Advance Wars return before the end of 2022? Is this a sign? Give us your own thoughts and theories in the comment section.
