It’s almost that time again, where the new free PS Plus games pop up on the PlayStation Store ready for subscribers to download and play. While there are now three different tiers of subscription, all members will gain access to this month’s Essential free PS5 and PS4 games. Whether you’re on Essential, Extra, or Premium, you will be able to play Need for Speed Heat (PS4), Granblue Fantasy: Versus (PS4), and Toem (PS5). Here’s when the PS Plus September 2022 free games come out in ET and PT (US), BST (UK), and CEST (EU) time zones.

When can you download the September 2022 PS Plus games?

You can download the September 2022 PS Plus games on September 6 at the following times:

  • 10 AM ET
  • 7 AM PT
  • 3 PM BST
  • 4 PM CEST

Though the above times are when most of the previous PS Plus games have been released, it’s possible that there will be a slight delay depending on your region. The delays can last up to three hours, so if you don’t immediately see the games available to download, try to be patient and check back after an hour or so.

It’s important that users wait for the games to be listed as “Free.” If a price is still shown, you will be charged for them. So make absolutely sure that all games are listed as “Free” before adding them to your library.

The PS Plus September 2022 games will be available until October 3. Even if you don’t plan on playing them right now, it’s recommended that you add them to your library as soon as possible for potential future enjoyment.
