white day a labyrinth named school

Korean horror fans rejoice! White Day: A Labyrinth Named School has finally made its way over to Xbox following its original release a few years back, and subsequent debuts onto different platforms in the years since. For anyone familiar with this title, White Day is certainly not one for the faint-hearted, as this romp through a school in 2001 promises scares aplenty.

White Day: A Labyrinth Named School releases today on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation and Switch. We’ve all been there: sometimes all the heart desires is to sneak into your school at the dead of night, and provide offerings to your childhood crush, only to find out the school is haunted, and be chased down by murderous janitors. Whilst it is just any old Tuesday for most of us, this is a predicament that Yeondu High School’s Lee Hee-Min is new to. And trapped in the school for the night, he must uncover the dark secrets of the school, whilst evading the murderous cleaners out for blood. Sounds more like a brown day to me, if you catch my drift.

Don’t expect to find yourself armed to the teeth by 4am either, as Lee Hee-Min is certainly not the combative type – with no weapons and few supplies, this is simply a case of sneaking around, evading his predators. This is classic survival horror, where the terror comes from weakness, and of course the occasional jump scare. Old-school Resi style!

Making use of a dynamic scare system and altering the puzzles on each playthrough developers Sonnori and publishers PQube have ensured that you are never comfortable, even on repeat outings to the school. This is furthered with the promise of multiple endings, encouraging the bravest of you to hunt down every single secret the game has to offer.

A full list of features of White Day include:
