50 years, eh? Not bad going. And with plenty of ups, but also some legendary downs, Atari are once again releasing a compilation. This one isn’t your average collection though, with some 100 games to choose from. Find out if your favourite is here as Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration launches today on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC.

Starting at the very beginning with some arcade classics right up to the Atari Jaguar, this compilation takes players on a real journey through the annals of Atari. Not only that, but there are interactive timelines that feature original artwork, old school footage and more. Atari employees past and present talk about the games and the culture in over 60 minutes of brand-new interviews.

There are the true classics like Pong, Breakout, Missile Command and Yars’ Revenge included, alongside some more obscure titles like Basketbrawl and Food Fight. There are even some new games included. developer Digital Eclipse have recreated games like Haunted House and even created the conclusion to the Swordquest quadrilogy with Airworld.
