The latest Japanese boxed video game software and hardware charts are in for the week of 5th December to the 11th December. There’s no move at the top of the charts for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet as both games continue to see very strong sales in the land of the rising sun. Both Pokemon games shifted an additional 277,676 physical copies this week and show no sign of slowing down. The best-selling gaming system was predictably the Nintendo Switch family which sold an extra 158,106 units this week.
