The gaming console which made the most money (dollar sales) was Sony’s PlayStation 5, though the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles were subject to continued stock issues in 2022. The best-selling video game of 2022 in the United States was the newest entry in the popular Call of Duty series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II from Activision Blizzard.
