Publisher CI Games and developer Hexworks have released a new trailer showcasing some of the impressive visual work going into its upcoming Lords of the Fallen sequel, The Lords of the Fallen.

The Lords of the Fallen, previously known as Lords of the Fallen 2, has had a rocky development history thus far, but with Hexworks taking over development back in 2020, the sequel has begun to shape up.

We got a reveal trailer during Gamescom last year that showcased the game’s darker, more gothic tone alongside word that this sequel will feature online co-op and a world five times larger than its predecessor. We got another look at the game’s grisly world in a new trailer released during The Game Awards back in December, and now, thanks to Epic’s State of Unreal presentation today, we get to see more of the game.

Because it’s a trailer released as part of today’s State of Unreal presentation, it’s less cinematic than previous trailers and instead, focuses on some of the visual design work going into the game.

Check it out for yourself below in this new trailer for The Lords of the Fallen:

As you can see, The Lords of the Fallen continues to look great, and fortunately, we don’t have to wait too much longer to go hands-on with it because it’s due out on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC sometime this year.
