Battle swans! Air Twister releases on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC with battle swans. What more do you want in life?

Battle Swans Assemble!

Well, we guess you probably do want more, but for us, it’s the inclusion of battle swans that absolutely sells a purchase of Air Twister.

Others may point to this being a brand new on-rails shooter from the legendary Yu Suzuki, or the fact that it comes complete with a host of modes, mini-games and more. But yeah, battle swans… Makes Untitled Goose Game seem relatively sane, huh?

Aside from that, you’ll find Air Twister available on the Xbox Store, priced at £19.99. It’s playable across Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S should you go all-in with a download as you join Princess Arch as she looks to save her home world.

Also on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC, Air Twister tasks you with going up against the evil forces of the Vanguard. It’s they who are trying to repopulate the world of AIR, coming up against a Princess on a mission.

Shoot and move

Shooting, dodging and moving forward is the name of the game in Air Twister, and you’ll do that with ease with a host of winged battle mounts. We’re not sure if we told you that battle swans were part of that?

Weaponry, power-ups, special moves and more all await. Making the most of those through the numerous game modes found in Air Twister will be par for the course, with a Turbo-mode and Boss Rush both present too.

Best still though? Not only does Air Twister look to fly in terms of visuald and mechanics, the rock-opera soundtrack put together by Valensia seals the deal even more.

Key game features

  • 12 artfully crafted stages with unique and new experiences each time you play. Embark on a fantastic journey, resembling that of Alice down the rabbit hole.
  • Over 20 Vanguard creatures and 10 unique bosses to challenge your skills and simple controls for a fun and easy play experience.
  • An epic soundtrack by Valensia, a Dutch music composer known for over three decades for keeping the musical rock and opera heritage of Queen’s greatest hits alive.
  • High replayability by unlocking Challenge Games in the Adventure Map with different modes like Arcade, Turbo, Boss Rush and more!

Air Twister can be downloaded from the Xbox Store right now, before being played on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It’s also on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC storefronts.

We’ll look to sort a review very soon. But we’d love to know what you think of this one. The comments are below if you are looking for them.
