On Pokémon Day—observed this year on February 27, 2024—Tsunekazu Ishihara, President and CEO of The Pokémon Company, hosted a special Pokémon Presents video that featured all sorts of exciting Pokémon news, including our first peek at a pair of new Pokémon titles—Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket.

Additionally, there were updates about Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violeta collaboration between Pokémon GO and Pokémon Horizons: The SeriesPokémon Masters EXPokémon UNITEPokémon Sleep, and Pokémon Café ReMix.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A

Lumiose City is the setting of the upcoming Pokémon Legends: Z-A, where an urban redevelopment plan brings with it a vision of people and Pokémon living together in harmony. Look for this new entry to the Pokémon video game series to arrive in 2025.

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket

Collect digital cards and compete in quick battles with streamlined rules in this new way to enjoy the Pokémon Trading Card Game. New “immersive cards” will allow you to leap into the world of card illustrations like never before. This free-to-start app is coming to iOS and Android devices in 2024.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet

A series of 7-star Tera Raid Battles is coming to Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet in celebration of Pokémon Day. You’ll be able to face off against Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise—each of which has the Mightiest Mark—for a chance to add these powerful Pokémon to your team. The first round of this Tera Raid Battle event series begins 28 February 2024, at 00:00 UTC. Check the Pokémon Presents video to see the full schedule.

Pokémon GO and Pokémon Horizons: The Series

Starting March 5, 2024, a special Pokémon Horizons: The Series collaboration is coming to Pokémon GO. Pikachu wearing Cap’s hat will make its debut during this event, and it will even know an attack new to Pokémon GO: Volt Tackle. Charcadet, Armarouge, and Ceruledge will also be appearing for the first time in Pokémon GO. When you snap a pic in GO Snapshot, the stars of Pokémon Horizons: The Series—Liko and Roy—will drop in to commemorate the show’s debut.

Pokémon Masters EX

Celebrate 4.5 years of Pokémon Masters EX with the arrival of new sync pairs. Look for Geeta & Glimmora and Silver (Champion) & Tyranitar in their featured sync pair scout, as well as the arrival of master sync pair Sygna Suit Gladion & Magearna. If you missed adding Lillie (Anniversary 2021) & Lunala and Sygna Suit Lusamine & Necrozma to your team during their past appearances, their Master Fair Scouts will be returning as well.

An in-game event is currently running, and if you complete it, you can add Riley & Lucario to your team. There’s also a special log-in gift of 3,000 no-cost gems. And get ready for your close-up, because the long-awaited photo creator is coming to the game.

Pokémon UNITE

More Pokémon are coming to Pokémon UNITE. A special event where you can earn Miraidon’s Unite license is now under way, and Falinks and Ceruledge will be joining the roster soon. In commemoration of Pokémon Day, a Prize Machine Event is under way that features opportunities for players to obtain popular Holowear—such as Sunshine Style: Venusaur—at no cost, as well as other prizes. Plus, watch the Pokémon Presents video to discover a gift code that grants players a 3-day limited license for Miraidon.

Pokémon Sleep

A Legendary Pokémon will soon arrive in Pokémon Sleep. Look for Raikou in March 2024, and then prepare for Entei and Suicune to follow later. There’s also a log-in bonus happening now where players can collect a gift of Poké Biscuits and Diamonds.

Pokémon Café ReMix

The always-charming Pokémon Café ReMix now allows you to collect Gimmighoul Coins by completing certain puzzles. There are also new outfits available for Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly to help your café staff look their very best. The first of a pair of bingo events has just started, too. By participating in these events, you can have the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon join your staff.
