Ancient Phantasma – on console and PC

It’s that time again. KEMCO are back with their latest retro turn-based RPG, with the release of Ancient Phantasma.

This time around, you’ll be protecting your homeland from an invading threat, and look to become the world’s biggest hero as you do so.

A Brave New Realm

Now available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and PC, Ancient Phantasma sees you travel the realm of Sandoria, built following the defeat of the evil Demon King many years ago. Now, a new threat looms over the region, and as Dean, Lord of Sayles, you will team up with a number of heroic characters to protect your home.

Gameplay carries out in the same turn-based fare that previous KEMCO titles have, inspired by the likes of the original Final Fantasy games. Expect to be picking up new abilities, recruiting a quirky cast of characters to your party, and facing off against a variety of powerful enemies.

There’s also the opportunity to bolster your party with Skill Gems and Skill Plates, with which players can modulate their best abilities.

Ancient Phantasma can now be purchased on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Switch and PC. Check out the game for yourself via the Xbox Store for £12.49.
