Blasting away the baddies in Deadlink

The critically acclaimed cyberpunk FPS Deadlink is finally here to set the world of Xbox and PlayStation alight with its addictive roguelite antics. Are you ready to embrace death to become the deadliest killer around in Deadlink?

Kill. Die. Upgrade. Repeat.

The Corporate Security Agency have assigned you, an elite operative, to take control of an autonomous combat shell as part of an experimental project known as Deadlink. The mission in this fast-paced FPS is to halt the devious schemes conjured up by the powerful corporations. Whether you pilot the Soldier, Hunter, Juggernaut or Engineer shell, you’ll end up blasting your way through the slums, dodgy warehouses, office buildings, and more. Ultimately, you’ll become the deadliest weapon the CSA has and can help put an end to the shady goings on.

Every run is randomised, so it’s going to push you to your limits, testing your ability to react to what’s ahead as you dash, jump, and make use of the destructible environments. Of course there will be weapons on hand too, with twenty different types available to wield when wreaking havoc. The vast number of upgradeable skills and tech implants should bolster your arsenal further, enabling you to create a loadout suited to your preferred playstyle.

Chances are, you’ll be outnumbered on every occasion, but if death occurs, it’s merely an opportunity to come back stronger than ever by collecting XP and investing funds earned during your previous efforts.

The console launch also sees the introduction of the new time-based game mode called Chronodeck. Here, it’s possible to show off your skills by completing a range of challenging courses filled with all sorts of obstacles, setting your best times to compete with other players on the leaderboards.

Available on next-gen today!

Deadlink is available to pick up right now on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 courtesy of a partnership between developers GRUBY Entertainment and publishers Crunching Koalas – those behind the likes of Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales and This War of Mine.

Xbox owners should head on over to the Xbox Store, where parting with £20.99 will acquire Deadlink for your gaming library.

Deadlink is a cyberpunk FPS with roguelite elements. You’re the first operative to be recruited to the experimental Deadlink project. Pilot an autonomous combat shell, fighting your way through cramped slums, twisted labs, grimy warehouses, and sleek office buildings on a mission to thwart the schemes of the most powerful corporations in the world. Wield a deadly arsenal, upgrade your skills and tech, devastate destructible environments, and slash corporate profit margins — all at the same time.

You are the Corporate Security Agency’s greatest weapon, and it’s your job to make sure the corporations and their shady deals are anything but secure. With the team at HQ backing you up, you’re tossed headfirst into the fray, where a military operation with plausible deniability can fix things for a fraction of the cost of a hopeless court case.

Every randomized run will be different, but one thing never changes: you will be outnumbered. Get ready to think on your feet as you dash, jump, and use the environment to your advantage. You can’t still, not even for a second.

Equip your shell with powerful weapon loadouts. Try out various combinations as you blaze a path of destruction. Want to snipe your foes from a distance, debilitate them with status effects, or just go in guns blazing? Whatever your playstyle, you can find the right kit for the job.

Your enemies have no shortage of bullets and bodies to throw at you. But you’re no slouch either. Sure, you might lose a combat shell here and there, but your next one will be even tougher. Start each new run with amped-up skills and deadlier firepower!
