Series 37 of the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges wraps up in Forza Horizon 5 this week with some Spring offerings. While it is hard to believe that it has been a month already, it’s time to start looking forward and get excited about what is coming next.

But not, of course, until we’ve knocked out this week’s challenges and got our hands on all those cool prizes up for grabs.

So, let’s see if the Series finishes strong as we roll into Spring!

Part 1: Weekly Car Challenge – Four Leaf Clover

With that tagline, it could only be an Alfa, and the car this week is the Giulia Quadrifoglio, literally a four leaf clover!

I’ve never been tempted by actually owning an Alfa in real life, after seeing my grandad struggle with his 164 back in the day. The thing had a mind of its own…

Should you not have one already, go and buy it from the Autoshow – they will exchange it for 120,000 of your credits.

Chapter 1 – Romeo & Giulia

Get in your new car, take it for a spin.  Step one complete.

Chapter 2 – Gift Horse

With a Ferrari-derived engine under the bonnet, win a drag race to show that you’re great or something.

Chapter 3 – Speed with Style

Get a total of 3 stars at speed zones. The one at the main Festival site is nice and short.

Chapter 4 – Cuore Sportivo

Earn 50,000 points at drift zones to show off that rear wheel drive. Simples! It isn’t keen to slide in stock trim, but it will if you poke it with a stick. Or pull the handbrake!

Complete these tasks and we will be five points closer to the seasonal prizes that are up for grabs with Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges for Series 37.

Part 2: Weekly Challenges, Championships and PR Stunts

With the weekly challenge done and dusted, let’s dive into the rest of the mayhem on offer.

The Trial, two Eventlabs, PR Stunts, races – that’s what you are getting with Series 37 Spring.

The Trial – All Four One

I decided last week to engage in a bit of “Treat others as you are treated” and needless to say, after being pushed wide of the first checkpoint by a “teammate”, it went downhill from there. Let’s play nicely, y’all!

This week the theme is Super Saloons, tuned to A Class 800, with AWD. I went with an Audi RS6 Avant (not a saloon) and the share code is : 736888629.

Let’s hope the racing gods smile down on us this week, as we attempt to win a BMW M5

Eventlab 1 – GABRIEL SZAYEL Presents SZ 2.11

The class here is a Super Hot Hatch tuned to A Class 800, and so the Civic Type R from 2018  was the preferred steed, and the share code is : 321949486. It’s set up for dirt so it is a bit of a laugh!

I hate the tunnels under Guanajuato, and this race hasn’t made me like them any more. A technical and challenging course, get your handbrake on for the most fun.

An Audi RS4 is the prize.

Eventlab 2 – ARKRA1DERS Presents Ark Seacoast Drift Town

For this event, a Super Saloon car tuned to S1 Class 900 is required, and so the BMW M5 from 2018 was chosen. Share code is : 929137542.

An odd, meandering course that does feel more like we should be scoring drift points rather than racing. I quite enjoyed this one.

Take home a Super Wheelspin for winning out.

PR Stunt 1 – Speed Zone – Desierto Viviente

This week, all the PR stunts need the same car, a B Class 700 Hot Hatch. I chose a VW Golf R32 from 2003, and the share name is “R32” with my GT, Red620Ti.

We need to hit the zone at an average speed of over 85 mph. Easy in an off road tuned car!

Do so and you’ll find a Super Wheelspin heading your way in return.

PR Stunt 2 – Speed Trap – Cordillera

Average speed test again, and this time the target is 90 mph.

Another Super Wheelspin awaits.

PR Stunt 3 – Trailblazer – Granjas

Same car yet again, and the target here is to hit the finish line with more than 18 seconds on the clock.

Yet another Super Wheelspin. Sigh.

Seasonal Championship 1 – Guanajuato at Midnight

We need a Hot Hatch or Super Hot Hatch, tuned to B Class 700. A big ask!

I chose a Ford Focus RS from 2009, and the share code is : 111915343.

For winning out, we can take home an Audi RS5.

Seasonal Championship 2 – Generation Alpha

We need to grab a European High Performance Daily car, tune it to A Class 800 and go racing. I went with an Audi RS6 Avant and the share code is : 736888629. It’s getting a lot of use this week, again!

The prize for winning is a BMW M5 ‘09.

Part 3: Other Challenges

A good mix of things to try this week, with a photo, a treasure hunt (that is harder than it seems), some Horizon Arcade and some Eliminator. Blimey!

Photo Challenge – #HITTINGTHERANGE

Take a photo of any Land Rover at the Club de Opalo de Fuego.Simples! I went for an action photo this week.

Enjoy my artistic effort up at the top of this piece. The location you need to be in is below.

The reward? A Referee’s Whistle car horn. Peep!

Treasure Hunt – Test RS

The clue reads “Focus your mind on some upgrades at the track and when you checkout, there’ll be treasure on your map”.

The picture shows a Focus RS, and so I guess we head to the test track, upgrade the car and then complete the riddle? Turns out you have to put items in your basket, then quit the event, choosing to install the parts.

Upgrade your Focus and Bob is your mother’s brother. The chest contains 100 FP, and the location is shown below.

Horizon Arcade – Mini Games

Play a game, why don’t you?

Choose an event from one that takes your fancy – Drift, Wreckage, Chaos, Air or Speed, and then attempt to complete three rounds either solo or with a group. Clearly, Drift is the best option chosen by the coolest of kids.

Should we do this, we will be rewarded to the tune of 3 whole points.

The Eliminator – Battle Royale

Time to battle, or hide, or do whatever it takes to survive into the Top 30 – you do you.

Take home a new Forzalink phrase.  “Game Over Yeaahhhhhh”.

Part 4: Hot Wheels Events

If you have the Hot Wheels expansion and are an Elite Level player, then you get to enjoy a couple of extra events.

Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Trap – Nexus View

The vehicles for the PR Stunts in the next two sections are the same, an A Class Modern Muscle car. I went with the Shelby GT500 from 2013, share code : 402868577.

150 mph is your target – Simples! Approaching from the north and using the loop made it easier.

A Super Wheelspin is your reward.

Seasonal Championship – Speed & Style

For this event, a Super GT car tuned to S1 Class 900 is required, and so the Ferrari 812 Superfast was chosen. Share code is : 261040765.

Completing the championship will get us a HSV Gen-F GTS.

Part 5: Rally Adventure Events

The Rally Adventure expansion brings even more events to the roster and provided you are already a Horizon Badlands champion, you’ll get access to the following couple of events…

Seasonal PR Stunt – Speed Zone – Crates Secos

Same car rules. Same car!

We need to hit over 65 mph through the zone to win out. Seems suspiciously easy…Turns out, sand makes it tricky!

The prize is another Super Wheelspin. Another.

Seasonal Championship – Run Raptor Run

We need a Sports Utility Hero for this race, and the tuning limit is A Class 800, so of course the Bentley Bentayga is my choice. Share code for mine is : 118484657.

I recommend the bumper view cam so you don’t actually have to look at this one!

The reward for racing? A Ford Raptor. I was shocked!

The rewards for Series 37 and Spring in Forza Horizon 5

With Series 37 done, you should have tons of points for the Series cars – the BMW M2 ‘23 for 80 points and a Lucid Air for 160 points.

Even more Rivals circuits have now been added with Series 37 – and we are back to the full 4 for this month. These are El Piplia Scramble, Bola Ocho Circuit, Gran Pantano Sprint and Dunas Blancas Sprint for those who prefer their cars to be battery powered.. Turn in clean laps on each track to earn a massive four points to the weekly totals. Sadly not four for each, as they seem to suggest!

Grab enough points and Series 37 Spring also sees you given access to the exclusive SRT Durango for 20 points. Additionally, for 40 points we can get the BMW M3 ‘21, a hard to find car. Not sure how many people have an M3 as a daily driver, mind…

So, that is the end of High Performance Dailies, and next week is a new Series – the 38th – entitled Hidden Horizons. No idea what’s in store, but pop by next week to find out!

To enjoy these events in the Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges, you’ll need a copy of Forza Horizon 5. It’s available on Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC and on the cloud via mobile. The Xbox Store will sort you out with a download.

Let us know in the comments if I have helped, hindered or missed the mark with these tunes.
