At The Game Awards, Capcom officially revealed a sequel to Okami is now in development. It will be directed by Hideki Kamiya. No platforms or release date have been announced yet, but here’s a teaser of project.
“Okami sequel project is underway!! Okami is a game critically acclaimed for its unique world, heartwarming story, and exciting adventures. Now, a new adventure in the same vein as Okami has been set in motion.”
During the same show, Capcom also announced Onimusha: Way of the Sword would be coming to Xbox, PlayStation and Steam in 2026.
